Dear Family and Friends, Sometimes I feel like there is a hand grander than mine guiding this adventure. Wait. That sounded cheesy. I take it back.
When we hit the road, we leave the comforts of home behind. What we carry in our bag can have a huge impact on our comfort level and overall ‘success’ of our travels. Here’s some of the stuff that’s working for me.
Travel is many a splendid things. It is an insistent, but patient teacher. It is flirtatious, slightly intoxicated babe. It is an old man with no teeth laughing at the wind. Travel’s multifacetedness keeps us guessing and inspired.
For my final days in France I did some special activities, such as drive with a dog and shake my booty to some brass brand music and eat on the banks of the Seine River. You know, the yoosh. But perhaps the most emotional moment was at an airport with an old friend…

Dear Family and Friends, I’ve decided that it’s time to break-up with my blue jeans. Despite a dynamic relationship that has stretched over two years – including a six-month elongation period thanks to some patches on the knees – this second set of denim skin has reached its end point.
