[preface] It’s been over a year since I’ve written in this “Letter Home” format. It’s a warmly familiar return to the design I used to relate my mixed bag of sentiments from my 2011 journey.

I said ‘au revoir’ to the goat farm this week so that I could meet with friends. I learned how to say “cheers” in Hebrew, the realities of working for an NGO in Palestine and where Israeli pop stars like to hang out in Tel Aviv. I also was blessed with a new family member. [...]

Yesterday I mentioned that I have been training for a marathon. One of the reasons I’ve chosen to tackle such an ambitious physical challenge is because my father has inspired me with his own carnal feats. The man ran a 3 hour marathon. That puts him in the top 2% of all marathoners. And yes, [...]

It’s Monday! [the sound of a crowd erupting] I’m just chillin’ at home, tucked up against my desk overlooking Boulevard Saint Laurent. And I’m sipping on some Glenfiddich whisky, trying [...]

Here’s my contribution for the worldwide user-generated video project “Life in a Day.” It was a fairly simple Saturday for me: brunch at Bagels Etc, some work on my computer, grocery shopping, a jog, chatting with family, and then heading off for dinner with friends. I’m sure there was a ton of crazy stuff going [...]
