Here are three easy ways to help with my project:
1) SHARE “The Conversationalist” WITH YOUR NETWORKS. A great way to help is by talking about me! If you read a story, see a photo or watch a video that you like, please share it: Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Email, StumbleUpon, Reddit. Heck, you could even print out one of my “Letters Home” for your Great Aunt Mildred. All I ask is that you direct people towards this website. Expanding my audience will inevitably lead to expanding my future opportunities.
2) GIVE A LITTLE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. If you derive value from my writings, photos and videos, one of the greatest ways to reciprocate is through a monetary gift. Giving is easy. Visit PayPal, and use your credit card to forward some dollars. All you need is my email address (dannyboy@danielbaylis.ca), and to follow the easy steps. A complex travel project of this nature certainly has significant costs. Volunteer sites request donations. Equipment for photo and video documentation is expensive. And then there is airfare, visa fees, food and all the other “unknown” expenses that present themselves along the way. Your gift, no matter how big or small, is put to good use.
This blog is advertisement-free and corporate-sponsorship-free. You can help maintain this indie spirit!
3) ENGAGE. Leave a comment somewhere on this website. Help create a space of conversation. Or share your personal thoughts, feedback and questions via Facebook, Twitter or Email. And getting old fashion snail mail on the road is a delightful treat (contact me for details on where to forward a letter). Your sentiments spur blog entries, and more importantly, they warm the cockles of my heart.
Thank you for being here with me.
