VIDEO RECAP: WEEK 4

[JANUARY 24] I snuck out early in the morning to climb up on the Lower Ninth Ward levy. The levy is only about two feet wide, so I was a bit nervous. I’m probably a really good tightrope walker. I just don’t know it yet.

[JANUARY 23] Every Sunday in New Orleans there is a brass band parade called “Second Line.” It has been called “the quintessential New Orleans art form — a jazz funeral without a body. My friend Denise gives us a quick tutorial before we find the parade, and the many awesome individuals that march.

[JANUARY 25] The task of the day was to clear a debris scattered lot in order for new development to take place. We had the radio pumpin’ to keep the morale high. Things got out of control when Aerosmith came pouring forth.

[JANUARY 26] Contrary to my preconceived notions of tropical temperatures in Louisiana, I’ve learned quickly that the winters here can be damn cold. It’s important to have a house that’s well insulated. In this clip, I teach you how to install fibre glass insulation, as well as what to wear to keep yourself safe AND fashionable.

[JANUARY 27] Things get a little saucy on the worksite as Craig administers a requested spanking to Edda. I had to take a lot of time to process it.
