Each month I crawl into bed with you. Wait, that doesn’t sound right. Here’s how it works: You pose questions via facebook, twitter, email or in the comments of this blog. I answer them in place that I’ve been sleeping. It’s interesting. It’s intimate. It’s informative. It’s all Baylis.
It was a memorable week in Australia: I visited a koala sanctuary, rode a Barbie™ scooter, saw the famous bats in Sydney and discovered costumes in a dumpster. May the adventure never end!
Hey you, faithful reader of The Conversationalist. I love what you’ve done with your hair! You’re probably wondering how I get such fabulously coiffed locks. My preferred style technique is sticking my head out of a fast moving Thai train. But if that’s not available, I use a tuque.
Between chillin’ with a duck in tuk-tuk, surviving a crazy 22-hour bus adventure, devouring delicious soup and offsetting 21.05 tonnes of CO2, it was a busy week. Oh, and did I mention that I cooked a rodent? Seriously.
This week I headed up to the northern town of Nong Khiaw to see what life was like in rural Laos. I saw a cave, a village and the view from the top of a mountain. Oh yeah, and I jammed with the Backstreet Boys. Whatevs.
For my first full week in Laos, I spent some time volunteering at Big Brother Mouse. But I also shared some unexpected meals with friends who were coincidentally in the town of Luang Prabang the same time as me!
This week I had my first few days in Laos! It was filled with some great explorations, delicious meals and seeing local attractions. But first you need to excuse me for my fashion disaster…
This week I hit the road! And the road hit me back! Check out some videos from Goa, including my ‘lucky’ flat tire…
How does one summarize a week in India? Well here’s an attempt to bring you there through seven quick videos. See my work project. Listen to a radio interview. Watch a praying mantas meet its demise. Just an average week in Goa!
This week was filled with work. Check out some of the projects, and meet some of the guys!
