Dear Family and Friends, It’s late on Sunday evening. I’m exhausted. I need a day off. I know, I know… there shall be no sympathy extended towards my problems of western world-travelin’ privilege. But can you just play a little bit of violin music to accompany my hardships?

This week features one of the videos that I’m most proud to have created over the past seven months. It’s a five minute documentary on the history of the Tower in Ruffepeyre, which is where I’ve been staying in southern France. Dear Family and Friends, I’ve decided that it’s time to break-up with my blue jeans. Dear Family and Friends, It was a cool and rainy Sunday afternoon here in Ruffepeyre. But that didn’t mean that the mood was depressing. Nope. We kept ourselves occupied with hot cups of tea and a gripping game of ‘Hearts.’ And then I played Master Chef for the dinner party. This is what happened.

It was a busy week in France. I chased after the patisserie truck, ate some quiche and witnessed a guineafowl being slaughtered. I’ve discovered that most of my life revolves around food. I’m cool with that.

Dear Family and Friends, I’m not sure if I’ve fully established how much I appreciate my current location. But in case my sentiments have lacked any sort of clarity, I’d like to state for the record that the south of France is pretty damn fine. For instance, there are lovely parties.
